Which ProfitDrawer spreadsheet should I buy for my trade?

Updated By ProfitDrawer

Short answer

Choose the ProfitDrawer bookkeeping spreadsheet named for your trade if there is one, such as cleaning, lash tech, contractor, plumber, HVAC, truck driver or realtor, because its income and expense categories and its top-clients tab are set up for that work. If your trade is not listed, the general small business bookkeeping spreadsheet has the same 12 tabs, and you can rename its categories on the Settings tab.

How to choose:

  1. Look for your trade first. Trade versions exist for many service, beauty, home, transport, food and creative businesses. Examples: cleaning-business-bookkeeping-spreadsheet, lash-tech-bookkeeping-spreadsheet, contractor-bookkeeping-spreadsheet, plumber-bookkeeping-spreadsheet, hvac-business-spreadsheet, truck-driver-bookkeeping-spreadsheet, realtor-business-spreadsheet, photographer-bookkeeping-spreadsheet, nail-tech-bookkeeping-spreadsheet.
  2. No exact match? Use small-business-bookkeeping-spreadsheet, or freelancer-bookkeeping-spreadsheet if you bill clients for your own time.
  3. Selling products online? There are separate versions such as etsy-seller-bookkeeping-spreadsheet and reseller-profit-bookkeeping-tracker.

What actually differs between versions: the starting category lists, the wording, and the name of the ranking tab (for example Top Clients, Top Customers, Top Tenants or Top Brokers). The 12-tab structure, dashboards, mileage log, Unpaid Invoices and Tax Summary are the same, and every category can be renamed on Settings.

What none of them do: create quotes or invoices, run payroll, track inventory, book appointments or file taxes. If you need to send invoices, ProfitDrawer's free invoice template is a separate file.
