# Is there a subscription for ProfitDrawer spreadsheets?

No. ProfitDrawer spreadsheets have no subscription: you pay once, and the files are yours to keep and use every year. There is no monthly fee ($0 a month), no sign-up and no shared link that can expire, because you open the .xlsx file in Excel or import it into your own Google Drive. The only ongoing need is a recent version of Excel, or a free Google account for Google Sheets.

**What one payment gets you:**

- The files themselves (for a bookkeeping spreadsheet: Bookkeeping-Template.xlsx, Google-Sheets-Setup.pdf and READ-ME-FIRST.pdf), downloaded straight after payment.
- A file you control. It lives on your computer or in your own Google Drive, not on a ProfitDrawer server, so nothing stops working if you never log in anywhere.
- Use in later years. The financial year is set on the Settings tab, so you can start a fresh copy of the file for each new year.

**What you do not need:**

- No ProfitDrawer account to use a purchased file. (A free, optional account is used for the free invoice template.)
- No add-ons or installs. Excel works offline; Google Sheets needs only a free Google account.

**Keep in mind:** the files are for your own business use and should not be resold or shared. Purchases on Etsy stay in your Etsy Purchases, where you can download them again.
